ASP.NET Core 5.0 - Homegrown Analytics Project

Topic
ASP.NET Core 5.0 - Homegrown Analytics Project
Framework
ASP.NET Core 5.0
Version
1.1.1
Description

This project implements Bootstrap Native and the KenHaggerty. Com. SingleUser NuGet package which provides log in and log out pages for a single user to access the Admin pages. jQuery has been removed. The article series explores some of the issues and considerations for collecting and analyzing usage metrics.

The project is designed and organized to allow easy integration with existing projects. I have been tweaking the project as I integrate it with my live sites and real-world data. The SingleUser NuGet package segregates the user logic. The project is feature complete and will increment the version with updates.

The Data folder includes an AnalyticsSchema migration and 2 SQL scripts. You can apply the migration by executing the update-database command in the Package Manager Console. Use the CreateAnalyticsSchema script with an existing database. To create a new database, use the CreateDbAndAnalyticsSchema script, replace NewDatabaseName to set the database name.
